Ep #22: Raising Successful Kids in an Era of Overexposure
In this day and age, kids are exposed to so much, so early. As parents, most of us were not exposed to adult topics and content at such a young age, and as a result, we were able to have a longer period of innocence. This era is a tough era for kids with everything that’s bombarding them on social media and more, so today I’m talking about how we can raise kids with confidence and resilience to our culture of overexposure.
Listen in as I discuss how success for kids is viewed and how we can help define that based on our family values and goals. You will hear about the value of rushing to your child’s side and how it impacts them as they mature and grow. Figuring out what kids need from us and balancing being too much or too little can be daunting as a parent, but in this episode, you’ll learn some basic areas where you can help impact their success in supportive and insightful ways.
